As the top prosecutor for the largest county in the district, as well as a Navy veteran, Brendan Kelly (IL-12) isn’t afraid to take on the toughest fights. Representing St. Clair County, he successfully sued several of the nation’s biggest banks for fraudulent, secretive mortgage recording, forcing the banks to be transparent and accountable. He also was the first State’s Attorney in Illinois to file suit against big pharmaceutical manufacturers for maximizing profits by deceiving patients about the dangers of certain prescribed opioids that have led to addiction, overdose, death and fueled the heroin epidemic. His independent profile and recognition for doing what's right is what uniquely qualifies him to tackle the most pressing issues of our time in Congress.
Ben McAdams (UT-04) is a seventh generation Utahn and father of four who currently represents 1.2 million people as Mayor of Salt Lake County. Xochitl Torres Small (NM-02), a water attorney and former staffer for Tom Udall, is a first-time candidate. As a child growing up in Las Cruces, she heard stories of her grandmother, who immigrated from Mexico and worked in the fields to build her American dream. While her family never had a lot of money, she learned that through hard work and a good education she could not only succeed, but also give back to the community that made her success possible. Torres Small would bring a wealth of experience to Congress, having worked in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and clerked for a New Mexico federal judge with one of the heaviest criminal dockets in the country.

Josh has spent the last 10 years working with entrepreneurs and small businesses, helping them grow and create thousands of new jobs. He has worked with the Gates Foundation and other nonprofits to organize small farmers in Kenya and Uganda, before becoming a part of Bessemer Venture Partners. Now, Josh teaches business at Modesto Junior College to help train the next generation of entrepreneurs. Josh is running for Congress to put his experience to work as a bipartisan leader.

In the State Assembly, she'll fight for a more humane criminal justice system, work to keep California's budget balanced, and fix BART.
Accountability and responsiveness are critical to excellence in public service. Beto O'Rourke (TX-Sen) has made it a priority to host monthly town halls in El Paso to hear directly from his constituents. For nearly five years he hasn’t missed a single one. And that’s exactly how he’s running his campaign for U.S. Senate. Beto is traveling to every part of Texas to meet with Texans in their communities. Whether they’re Democrats, Republicans, Independents or even non-voters, all Texans deserve an accountable, full-time, full-service Senator who’s committed to working tirelessly for our state.

As governor of Tennessee from 2003 to 2011, Phil balanced eight consecutive budgets, opposed a state income tax, kept the state government afloat during the Great Recession, reined in out-of-control Medicaid costs, championed land and water conservation initiatives, and championed education reforms that made Tennessee the fastest-improving state in the history of the Nation’s Report Card.
